Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:1000. Western Blot: Preliminary experiments in Human Brain (Cerebellum, Cerebral Cortex) lysates gave no specific signal but low background (at antibody concentration up to 1ug/ml). We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? |
| Description |
Epitope: internal region. Immunogen: Synthetic peptide, DYSSETSEDDDSLKC, representing the internal regionof the sequence according to NP_758424.1. Please note, this antibody is considered to be Innovators Grade. Innovators Grade antibodies have been validated for limited uses and require additional characterization for most new species/applications. These antibodies are directed against antigens that have limited or no commercial antibodies available for them, or for which there are limited expression data available to us. In an effort to encourage customer feedback, Novus has made these antibodies available through our Innovators Reward program. Under this program, Novus will provide you a 50% refund on the purchased product as well as a 50% discount on a future product of equal value in exchange for your new data. Please contact us at innovators@novusbio.com for more details. The membrane-associated protein encoded by this gene is a member of the superfamily of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporters. ABC proteins transport various molecules across extra- and intracellular membranes. ABC genes are divided into seven distinct subfamilies (ABC1, MDR/TAP, MRP, ALD, OABP, GCN20, and White). This encoded protein is a member of the ABC1 subfamily. Members of the ABC1 subfamily comprise the only major ABC subfamily found exclusively in multicellular eukaryotes. This gene is clustered among 4 other ABC1 family members on 17q24, but neither the substrate nor the function of this gene is known. Alternative splicing of this gene results in several transcript variants; however, not all variants have been fully described. |
