Endogenous peptide fragment that is a selective agonist for the sensory neuron specific receptor (EC50 values are 28 and 14 nM for SNSR3 and SNSR4 respectively); first isolated from bovine adrenal medulla. Unlike BAM 22P (Cat. No. 1650), does not contain the met-enkephalin motif therefore displays no affinity for opioid receptors.
