DescriptionCD161 Antibody, anti-human, FITC. Clone 191B8 recognizes CD161, a C-type lectin membrane glycoprotein. CD161, also known as NKR-P1A, is expressed as an 80 kDa disulfide-linked homodimer and is found on most NK cells and subsets of T cells. In peripheral blood, CD161 is preferentially expressed on T cells of memory phenotype, but it can also be found on subsets of thymocytes and fetal liver T cells. | CD161 has been implicated in triggering NK-mediated cytotoxicity, contributing to target cell recognition by NK cells.
