| Description | Specificity: Human P2RX7 / P2X7. P2X7 is a member of a family of P2X receptors that are fast, ligand-gated cation channels that differ in the length of their intracellular C-termini. The long C-terminus of P2X7 allows time-dependent dilation of the channel, in response to ATP, to form a cytolytic pore allowing entry of large molecules. |
