AATK protein-GST fusion from ROCKLAND IMMUNOCHEMICALS INC.

Product NameAATK protein-GST fusion
DescriptionRecombinant mouse AATK (8-411) was expressed by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells using an N-Terminal Glutathione-S-Transferase fusion protein. The purity was determined to be >95% by densitometry. AATK or apoptosis-associated tyrosine kinase contains a tyrosine kinase domain at the N-terminus and a proline-rich domain at the C-terminus. AATK is induced during apoptosis, and expression of this protein is a necessary pre-requisite for the induction of growth arrest and/or apoptosis of myeloid precursor cells (1). AATK is highly detected in brain, lung, kidney, and pancreas (2). AATK is also shown to produce neuronal differentiation in a neuroblastoma cell line. AATK Protein is ideal for investigators involved in Signaling Proteins , Cellular Proteins, Apoptosis/Autophagy, Cancer, and Cytoplasmic Tyrosine Kinase research.
Size50 µg, 0.1 µg/µl
ApplicationsWestern Blot. AATK Protein is stored in 50mM Tris-HCl, pH 7.5, 50mM NaCl, 10mM glutathione, 0.1mM EDTA, 0.25mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 25% glycerol. AATK Protein is suitable for use in Western Blot. Expect a band approximately ~ 71kDa on specific lysates or tissues. Specific conditions for reactivity should be optimized by the end user.
