| Description | Purified anti-CD117 (c-KIT) Phospho (Tyr703). Proto-oncogene CD117/c-KIT is a type III receptor tyrosine kinase that binds Stem Cell Factor (SCF). CD117 is used to identify certain types of hematopoietic progenitors in bone marrow, such as hematopoietic stem cells (HSC), multipotent progenitors (MPP), and common myeloid progenitors (CMP). Expression of CD117/c-KIT is also found in stem cell precursors from prostate, liver, and heart.
