| Description | Purified anti-Doublecortin (DCX). Doublecortin (DCX) is a microtubule-associated protein that is predominantly expressed in embryonic brains by neuronal precursor cells or immature neurons. DCX is also expressed in the adult brains in regions such as subventricular zones and dentate gyrus, where neuronal precursor cells are localized, and thus has been widely used as a marker for neurogenesis.
