| Description | PE anti-human TMEM8A. TMEM8A is an 84 kD, type I protein with five transmembrane-spanning regions. TMEM8A is expressed on the surface of resting T cells and is down-regulated after cell activation. In addition, there are reports of TMEM8A co-localizing with LAMP2 in the lysosome. While the exact function of TMEM8A is unknown, it has been proposed to be an adhesion molecule that may be involved in the maintenance of the resting T cell state. |
