| Description | Purified anti-mouse/human Siglec-15. Siglec-15, also known as Siglec-I and CD33L3, is a member of the Sialic acid-binding Ig-like lectin family and is a type I single pass transmembrane protein. Siglec-15 is expressed by a subset of myeloid cells, osteoclasts, and can be upregulated by certain cancers. Siglec-15 plays an important role in osteoclastogenesis and bone remodeling during normal development and in bone absorption in arthritis.
