Description | Villin Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL815 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Villin antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL815 recognizes human Villin protein, also known as Villin-1, a member of a family of calcium-regulated actin-binding proteins encoded by the VIL1 gene. This protein represents a dominant part of the brush border cytoskeleton and plays a role in the actin nucleation, actin filament bundle assembly, actin filament capping and severing. Villin regulates the intestinal epithelial cell morphology, cell invasion, cell migration and apoptosis and enhances hepatocyte growth factor (HGF)-induced epithelial cell motility, chemotaxis and wound repair. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | |
