Description | SSEA-1 Antibody, anti-human/mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA321 recognizes the human and mouse stage specific embryonic antigen 1 (SSEA-1) antigen, which is a Lewis blood group related carbohydrate antigen, also known as CD15. SSEA-1 is expressed on human myelomonocytic cells and is present on neutrophils, eosinophils, and some monocytes, but not on basophils or lymphocytes. The antigen is also expressed on Hodgkin/Reed-Sternberg cells. SSEA-1 is a common surface marker for pluripotency on mouse ES and iPS cells. On human cells in contrast, SSEA-1 is expressed only on early differentiating cells. | Additional information: Clone REA321 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
