Description | CD252 (OX40L) Antibody, anti-mouse, APC. Clone RM134L recognizes CD252 (OX40L), a ligand of OX40 receptor, belonging to the TNF superfamily. Expression of CD252 can be induced on B cells, dendritic cells, macrophages, mast cells, natural killer (NK) cells, endothelial cells, and smooth muscle cells. Expression of the cognate receptor OX40 is found on activated CD4 cells, CD8 cells, regulatory T cells, NKT cells, NK cells, and neutrophils, but the function of OX40 signaling is extensively studied only in T cells. CD252 (OX40L)-OX40 interaction promotes the proliferation and surival of effector T cells, modulates cytokine production, suppresses the activity of natural regulatory T cells (nTreg), and inhibits the generation of inducible Treg cells. |
