Description | CD158i (KIR2DS4) Antibody, anti-human, Vio® Bright B515, REAfinity™. Clone REA860 recognizes the human CD158i antigen, also known as KIR2DS4, a member of the killer immunoglobulin-like receptor (KIR) family expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and some T cells. CD158i (KIR2DS4) provides an activation signal for NK lytic activity upon interaction with its ligand, HLA-Cw4, in an antigen-independent manner. KIRs are monomeric receptors possessing high allelic polymorphism with either two or three Ig-like extracellular domains. The receptor family can be subdivided functionally according to the length of their cytoplasmic tail in inhibitory and activating KIRs. | Additional information: Clone REA860 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
