Description | Cytokeratin 8/18 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL1358 is an antibody fragment derived from the full Cytokeratin 8/18 antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1358 recognizes Cytokeratin 8 and Cytokeratin18, intermediate filament proteins that play a critical role in mechanical stability and integrity of epithelial cells and tissues, have regulatory functions and are involved in intracellular signaling pathways. Cytokeratin 8 and Cytokeratin18 copolymerizes to form a component of the cytoskeleton to differentiate cells of epithelial origin from hematopoietic cells and to enumerate circulating tumor cells in blood. Cytoceratin 8/18 are expressed in epithelia cells and many epithelial cell derived cancers. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | |
