| Description | This SKAP1 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 266-295 amino acids from the C-terminal region of human SKAP1. This gene encodes a T cell adaptor protein, a class ofintracellular molecules with modular domains capable of recruitingadditional proteins but that exhibit no intrinsic enzymaticactivity. The encoded protein contains a unique N-terminal regionfollowed by a PH domain and C-terminal SH3 domain. Along with theadhesion and degranulation-promoting adaptor protein, the encodedprotein plays a critical role in inside-out signaling by couplingT-cell antigen receptor stimulation to the activation of integrins. |
