| Description | Rat anti Human RAF-1 (pSer338) antibody, clone pS338 recognizes activated human RAF proto-oncogene serine/threonine-protein kinase, also known as Raf-1 or c-RAF, binding to the phosphorylated serine residue at position 338. Rat anti Human RAF-1 (pSer338) antibody, clone pS338 binds to Raf-1 that has been activated by Ras or Src, but not to unactivated Raf-1. Rat anti Human RAF-1 (pSer338) antibody, clone pS338 does not bind to Raf peptides phosphorylated at other sites, including Y341 and S339. Rat anti Human RAF-1 (pSer338) antibody, clone pS338 has been described for the detection of Ser338 phosphorylated RAF-1 by western blotting (Mason et al. 1999). |
