| Description | This SSR4 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 98-126 amino acids from the Central region of human SSR4. SSR4, also called TRAPD, is assumed to be involved inprotein secretion. It is located in the Xq28 region, arranged in acompact head-to-head manner with the IDH3G gene. These two genesare driven by a bidirectional promoter located between them, andencode proteins involved in unrelated biochemical pathways locatedin different compartments of the cell. The nontranscribedintergenic region represents only 133 bp and is embedded in a CpGisland.
