| Description | CD16 is a low affinity receptor for aggregated IgG (FcgammaRIII antigen). CD16 antigen exists in two different isoforms: CD16a is a transmembrane form (FcgammaRIIIA; 50-65 kDa) expressed on NK cells, monocytes and macrophages; CD16b is a GPI-anchored form (FcgammaRIIIB; 48 kDa) mainly expressed on neutrophils. |
