| Description | Description: The antibody is a rabbit polyclonal antibody made to the metalloproteinase ADAMTS-9. The antibody is made to a synthetic peptide based on the spacer region of human ADAMTS-9, between the first and second thrombospondin domains. The antibody has been peptide-affinity purified, concentrated to 1.0 mg/ml, with the addition of 0.05% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. ADAMTS-9 is a member of the ADAMs family of proteinases with Thrombospondin motifs. ADAMTS-9 is closest in homology to ADAMTS-20, sharing 54% overall identity, and like ADAMTS-20 ADAMTS-9 gas a GON-like domain at the carboxyterminal end.
