| Description | This GSTT2 antibody is generated from rabbits immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 113-141 amino acids from the Central region of human GSTT2. Glutathione S-transferase (GSTs) the ta 2 (GSTT2) is a member of asuperfamily of proteins that catalyze the conjugation of reducedglutathione to a variety of electrophilic and hydrophobic compounds.Human GSTs can be divided into five main classes: Alpha, Mu, Pi, the ta, and Zeta. the the ta class members GSTT1 and GSTT2 share 55% amino acidsequence identity and both are thought to have an important role inhuman carcinogenesis. |
