| Description | The antibody recognises the metalloproteinase domain of ADAMTS13. Description: The antibody is a polyclonal antibody made to the metalloproteinase ADAMTS-13. The antibody is made to a synthetic peptide based on the metalloproteinase domain of human ADAMTS-13. The antibody has been peptide-affinity purified, concentrated to 1.0 mg/ml, with the addition of 0.05% sodium azide as preservative and 50% glycerol as cryoprotectant. ADAMTS-13, also known as von Willebrands factor-cleaving protease (vWF-cp), was first identified by its ability to cleave the ultra-large aggregates of vWF into smaller forms in the serum.
