Description | Specificity: RALY antibody detects endogenous levels of total RALY. Function: RNA-binding protein that acts as a transcriptional cofactor for cholesterol biosynthetic genes in the liver. Binds the lipid-responsive non-coding RNA LeXis and is required for LeXis-mediated effect on cholesterogenesis (By similarity). May be a heterogeneous nuclear ribonucleoprotein (hnRNP) (PubMed:9376072).Subunit Structure: Identified in the spliceosome C complex.Similarity: Belongs to the RRM HNRPC family. RALY subfamily. |
Immunogen | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide Subcellular Location: Nucleus Tissue Specificity: Expressed in heart, brain, lung, liver, skeletal muscle, kidney and pancreas. Weakly expressed in placenta. Predicted Cross Reactivity: Pig, Zebrafish, Bovine, Horse, Sheep, Rabbit, Dog, Chicken, Xenopus Similarity: Pig (91%), Zebrafish (91%), Bovine (91%), Horse (91%), Sheep (91%), Rabbit (91%), Dog (91%), Chicken (91%), Xenopus (82%) |
