| Description | This CYP7A1 antibody is generated from a rabbit immunized with a KLH conjugated synthetic peptide between 27-58 amino acids from the N-terminal region of human CYP7A1. Catalyzes a rate-limiting step in cholesterol catabolism and bile acid biosynthesis by introducing a hydrophilic moiety at position 7 of cholesterol. Important for cholesterol homeostasis. |
