| Description | Specificity: Anti-IRAK2 [Rabbit antibody to peptide corresponding to aa 546-564 of human IRAK2.]. This antibody recognizes full-length human IRAK2 (65 kD). The pro-inflammatory cytokine IL-1 induces cellular responses through two subunits of its receptor, IL-1 receptor 1 (IL-1R1) and IL- 1 receptor accessory protein (IL-1RacP). IL-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK) mediates activation of NF- kappa B, a key transcription factor that mediates inflammatory and immune respones. A novel member of the IRAK/Pelle family was recently identified and designated IRAK2.
