Product Name | EIF1, 1-113aa, Human, His tag, E Coli |
Description | Purity > 90% by SDS-PAGE. EIF1, also known as eukaryotic translation initiation factor 1, is a universally conserved translation factor that is necessary for scanning and involved in initiation site selection. This protein promotes the assembly of 48S ribosomal complexes at the authentic initiation codon of a conventional capped mRNA. Recombinant human EIF1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E Coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW: 16.9 kDa (150aa), confirmed by MALDI-TOF. |
