Product Name | Recombinant human MARCKSL1 protein |
Description | Domain: 1-195aa. Recombinant human MARCKSL1 protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E. coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques. MW: 21.9 kDa (218aa) confirmed by MALDI-TOF (Molecular weight on SDS-PAGE will appear higher). Purity > 90% by SDS-PAGE. MARCKS-related protein, also known as MARCKSL1, is a member of MARCKS family of PKC substrate. It is widely used in the signal transduction studies as an indicator of PKC activation. Expressed in a variety of tissues with highest levels found in testis and uterus, MARCKSL1 participates in the coordination of membrane-cytoskeletal signaling events, including secretion, migration, phagocytosis and cell adhesion. Additionally, MARCKSL1 functions as a regulator of Integrin activation and is thought to regulate Integrin-dependent signal transduction pathways, especially those involved in macrophage spreading |
