Product Name | Integrin-Linked Kinase (ILK) (Western Blot Control) |
Description | Purity Single band on Western blot. Integrin-linked kinase (ILK1) is a serine/threonine protein kinase, containing 4 ankyrin-like repeats. ILK1 interacts with the cytoplasmic domains of integrin β1 and β3 subunits as well as several adaptors and signalling proteins and acts as a proximal receptor kinase regulating integrin-mediated signal transduction. ILK1 has been reported to regulate a number of biological properties including anchorage-independent cell cycle progression, tumour cell invasion and apoptosis. Over-expression of ILK1 has been documented in a wide variety of human malignancies. RANDOX recombinant ILK1 comprises a 452 amino acid fragment (1-452) corresponding to the mature ILK1 full length protein and is expressed in E. coli with an amino terminal hexahistidine tag. This product is for research use only and is not intended for diagnostic or therapeutic use. |
