HTT may play a role in microtubule-mediated transport or vesicle function. Defects in HTT are the cause of Huntington disease (HD) which is an autosomal dominant neurodegenerative disorder characterized by involuntary movements (chorea), general motor impairment, psychiatric disorders and dementia. |
