| Description | PE anti-mouse CD125 (IL-5Rα). CD125 is a 60 kD type I transmembrane protein. It is the ligand-specific α subunit of the heterodimeric interleukin 5 (IL-5) receptor. The signal-transducing β subunit of this receptor does not bind to any cytokines and is shared by the receptors for IL-3 and CSF2/GM-CSF. IL-5 is mainly produced by Th2 cells and elevated IL-5 levels are associated with allergic disorders.
