| Description | Purified anti-Daxx. Daxx is a multifunctional protein that interacts with a wide variety of proteins. It was originally identified as a signaling protein that binds to the Fas death domain, enhances Fas-mediated apoptosis and activates the JNK pathway. Later, Daxx was found to be involved in gene regulation. It inhibits the activation of some sumoylated transcription factors such as Pax3 and Ets-1 in the nucleus.
