| Description | Purified anti-Rb. Rb is a key regulator of the cell cycle, more specifically during the transition from the G1 to S phases. The underphosphorylated, active form of Rb interacts directly with E2F1, leading to cell cycle arrest, while the hyperphosphorylated form decouples from E2F1, thus promoting the transcription of genes promoting entry into the S phase.
