| Description | Purified anti-Myogenin. Myogenin is a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor from the myogenic regulator factor (MRF) family of transcription factors, which also includes MyoD, Myf5 and MRF4. Like other members of the MRF family myogenin is required for skeletal muscle development, and regulates the growth, repair and atrophy of skeletal muscle and myosatellite cells.
