| Description | Purified anti-Peroxiredoxin 1. Peroxiredoxin 1, also called PRDX1, is one of six members of the superfamily of thiol-dependent peroxidases. Peroxiredoxin 1 can eliminate reactive oxygen and nitrogen species. As a critical antioxidant enzyme, it utilizes an N-terminal cystine to detoxify peroxides and protect cells from oxidative stress damage.
