Description | Biotin anti-rat CD103 (αE Integrin). CD103, also known as Integrin αE or integrin αIEL, is a single pass transmembrane protein composed by two chains, heavy and light, linked by a disulfide bond. It is expressed in the cell surface as an αE/β7 heterodimer. CD103 mediates adhesion of intraepithelial T cells (IEL) to the epithelium. CD103 is expressed by IEL, effector and memory Tregs, and dendritic cells and their immediate precursors. E-cadherin is the ligand for CD103. |
