| Description | Purified anti-Elastin. Elastin is a protein that composes elastic fibers in extracellular matrix to confer elasticity of organs including skin, lung, and colon. Elastokines, which are fragments degraded from elastin, stimulate proliferation and migration of skin fibroblasts and monocytes, through ERK and integrin signaling pathways. Elastins are involved in cancer progression and diseases including supravalvular aortic stenosis and cutis laxa. |
