| Description | Purified anti-EGFR Phospho (Tyr1173). Epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) is a receptor tyrosine kinase that links extracellular mitogenic ligand binding to complex downstream signaling cascades. Initial ligand binding results in receptor oligomerization and autophosphorylation of multiple tyrosine residues within cytosolic domains of the protein. EGFR undergoes autophoshorylation at tyrosine 1173, which leads to the recruitment of SH-2 domain-containing proteins SHC and Grb2 and concomitant downstream activation of ERK. In addi |
