| Description | Purified anti-Caspase-2L. Caspase-2 is an evolutionarily conserved member of the caspase family. Caspases are cycteine-rich proteases, known to be activated in response to apoptotic stimuli including DNA damage, ER stress, oxidative stress, and heat shock. Activated caspases hydrolyze structural proteins in the cells that in turn results in apoptosis.
