| Description | Camelid Anti-Gβγ dimer Recombinant Single Domain Antibody (Nb5). This product is a recombinant Llama single domain antibody that recognizes Bovine Gβγ dimer. Nb5 binds and inhibits Gβ subtypes 1-4, showing its broad applicability to various cell types. Nb5 acts as a control-switch of GPCR-mediated cellular signaling by modulating PI3K-protein kinase B/AKT and MAPK-extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) pathways. Nb5 does not alter Gαi-GTP-governed cellular levels of secondary messenger cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP). Nb5 shows no effect on either Gαq-induced intracellular Ca2+ elevation or Gαs-induced cAMP production. |
