Description | Rabbit anti-HIP55 Antibody, Affinity Purified. HIP55 (HPK1-interacting protein of 55 kDa) is an actin-binding adapter protein that may act as a common effector of antigen receptor-signaling pathways in leukocytes. The association of HIP55 with dynamin suggests that it may also connect the actin cytoskeleton to endocytic function. HIP55 acts as a key component of the immunological synapse that regulates T-cell activation by bridging TCRs and the actin cytoskeleton to gene activation and endocytic processes [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/Q9UJU6]. |
