| Description | Rabbit anti-GMEB2 Antibody, Affinity Purified. Glucocorticoid modulatory element-binding protein 2 (GMEB2) is a trans-acting factor that binds to glucocorticoid modulatory elements (GME) present in the TAT (tyrosine aminotransferase) promoter and increases sensitivity to low concentrations of glucocorticoids. GMEB2 also binds to the transferrin receptor promoter and is an essential auxiliary factor for the replication of parvoviruses [taken from the Universal Protein Resource (UniProt) www.uniprot.org/uniprot/ Q9UKD1]. |
