| Description | Rabbit anti-TAF2 Antibody, Affinity Purified. TAF2 is a component of the multi-subunit TFIID transcription factor. The TFIID complex is important for coordinating the pre-initiation complex and transcription by RNA Pol II. The complex contains the TFIID protein, TATA binding protein (TBP) and multiple TBP-associated factors (TAFs). TAF2 has been shown to play an important role in gene expression required for progression through the cell cycle. |
