Anti-Human CD14 recognizes a (Mr 55 kDa) cell surface glycoprotein expressed on most peripheral blood monocytes. Cluster of differentiation 14 also known as CD14 is a cell surface glycoprotein expressed in monocytes, macrophages, polymorphonuclear neutrophils, chondrocytes, B-cells, dendritic cells. CD14 functions to enhance activation of cells by lipopolysaccharide (LPS). |
