| Description | Mouse Anti-Human PGI Monoclonal Antibody (Detection) was obtained by immunizing mouse with PGI antigen. Pepsinogen, synthesised by the main cells of the acid-secreting glands, is transformed into pepsin in the lumen of the stomach by the action of hydrochloric acid (HCL) or pepsin, which is already active and breaks down proteins into fat, peptone and a few peptides. The optimum pH for this enzyme is 2. After entering the small intestine, the enzyme activity is lost. |
