DescriptionCXCL9 (MIG) Antibody, anti-mouse, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA365 recognizes the mouse C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 9 (CXCL9) antigen, a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family that is also known as Monokine induced by interferon γ (MIG). CXCL9 is a T-cell chemoattractant, which is induced by IFN-γ during infection, injury or immunoinflammatory responses in macrophages, hepatocytes, and endothelial cells. It is best known for its role in leucocyte trafficking, principally acting on activated CD4+ Th1 cells, CD8+ T cells and NK cells. CXCL9 also has angiostatic properties. Overexpression of CXCL9 in tumors can lead to T-cell accumulation, vascular damage, and tumor regression. It elicits its chemotactic functions by interacting with the chemokine receptor CXCR3. | Additional information: Clone REA365 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors.
