Description | CD248 (Endosialin) Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAdye_lease™. Clone REAL1302 is an antibody fragment derived from the full CD248 (Endosialin) antibody molecule. It displays no binding to Fc receptors. The recombinantly engineered antibody fragments are multimerized to form the REAdye_lease Complex to bind markers with high avidity. | Clone REAL1302 recognizes the human CD248 (Endosialin) antigen, also known as Tumor endothelial marker 1 (TEM1) or CD164 sialomucin-like 1 (CD164L1). CD248 is a single-pass type I transmembrane glycoptrotein belonging to the Group XIV, a novel family of C-type lectin transmembrane receptors. CD248 is expressed on tumor endothelial cells, in metastatic lesions of the liver pericytes and on stromal fibroblasts. CD248 is suggested to be involved in tumor angiogenesis, development and growth and in lymphoid tissue organization. | For removal of REAdye_lease fluorochromes for optional relabeling with different fluorochrome-conjugated REAdye_lease antibodies use the REAlease Support Kit (130-120-675). | |
