Description | Rae-1α/β/γ Antibody, anti-mouse, PE-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA578 recognizes the Rae-1α/β/γ antigen, a surface protein and member of GPI-linked (glypiated) proteins which share partial homology with MHC class I molecules. Rae-1α/β/γ were detected in early mouse embryos, especially in the head region. Rae-1 is also up-regulated on a large variety of tumor cells. Together with H-60, Rae-1 is a ligand for the murine NKG2D receptor and a potent stimulator of innate immunity. The ligand-expressing tumour cells induce potent priming of cytotoxic T cells and sensitization of NK cells in vivo. Clone REA578 does not detect Rae-1δ/ε. | Additional information: Clone REA578 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
