Description | CXCL16 Antibody, anti-human, Biotin, REAfinity™. Clone REA873 recognizes the human CXCL16 cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. It consists of a transmembrane region and a chemokine domain suspended by a mucin-like stalk. CXCL16 is secreted by dendritc cells localized in the T cell zones of lymphoid organs, and by cells found in the red pulp of the spleen. The expression of CXCL16 is induced by the inflammatory cytokines IFN-γ and TNF-α. The receptor of CXCL16 is CD186, also known as CXCR6, Bonzo, or STRL33, which is activated by CXCL16, which leads to chemotaxis of T cells. | Additional information: Clone REA873 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
