| Description | TIM-3 Antibody, anti-mouse, APC-Vio® 770, REAfinity™. Clone REA602 reacts with the mouse TIM-3 antigen, which is a T?1-specific cell surface protein expressed by differentiated CD4+ T?1 and CD8+ Tc1 cells and macrophages. It is absent on CD4+ T?2 and CD8+ Tc2 cells. TIM-3 has been proposed to inhibit T?1-mediated immune responses. TIM-3 absence enhances the severity of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis in mice. The interaction of TIM-3 and galectin-9 induces apoptosis of T?1 cells. | Additional information: Clone REA602 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. | |
