Clone REA982 recognizes the mouse iNOS protein, also known as nitric oxide synthase 2 (NOS2) or MAC-NOS. iNOS produces the messenger molecule nitric oxide (NO), which is able to mediate tumoricidal and bactericidal processes. Furthermore, iNOS plays a role in inflammation and increases the synthesis of proinflammatory interleukins. | Additional information: Clone REA982 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
