Description | MUC-13 Antibody, anti-human, PE, REAfinity™. Clone REA711 recognizes the human MUC-13 antigen, a 54 kDa transmembrane glycoprotein. MUC-13 may play a role in cell signaling and is involved in barrier function in epithelial tissues. It is highly expressed in epithelial tissues, particularly those of the gastrointestinal and respiratory tracts, such as large intestine and trachea, followed by kidney, small intestine, appendix, and stomach. Including MUC-13, there are at least five cell surface mucins expressed in the gastrointestinal tract. | Additional information: Clone REA711 displays negligible binding to Fc receptors. |
